For Many Greeks, Here's What Austerity Will Look Like
1. Taxes will increase by 2.32 billion euros this year and 3.38 billion, 152 million and 699 million in the three subsequent years. There will be higher property taxes and an increase in the value-added tax (VAT) from 19 percent to 23 percent.
2. Luxury levies will be introduced on yachts, pools and cars and there will be special levies on profitable firms, high-value properties and people with high incomes.
3. Excise taxes on fuel, cigarettes and alcohol will rise by one-third.
4. Public sector wages will be cut by 15 percent.
5. Defense spending will be cut by 200 million euros in 2012 and 333 million each year from 2013 to 2015.
6. Education spending will be cut by closing or merging 1,976 schools.
When you choose to live on less, that is "austerity." When the government forces you to live on less so the bankers can have more, that is "Poverty." It is also "Tyranny", "Fascism", and "Dictatorship."... And after Greece, the promoters of the Global Fascist Economic Dictatorship (aka The New World Order) are aimed right at the United States of America....They are aimed at you!.... And that is why We The People must stand with the people of Greece against the systematic impoverishment of all the people of Planet Earth in the name of some fanciful and impractical global hegemonic society.

Quote De Jour
"We are a nation that worships the frontier tradition, and our heroes are those who champion justice through violent retaliation against injustice. It is not simple to adopt a credo that moral force has as much strength and virtue as the capacity to return a physical blow; or that to refrain from hitting back requires more will and bravery than the automatic reflexes of defense." - Martin Luther King, Jr.
Drying Your Own fruit, herbs and vegetables
Beat the rising cost of staples and dry the produce from your garden and fruit trees. The only dehydrator I would endorse (and I have tried them all) is the Excalibur bar none....don't waste money om anything less.....see them here. Also a Hanging Food Dehydrator you can make is a good way to get started.....see how to make one here.
One of the oldest means of preserving food is by drying. This is easy in the warm and dry conditions of the Mediterranean where it is easy to use the sun to take the moisture out of the food. Micro-organisms which cause food to decay cannot survive without moisture and by removing 90% of the water content your fruit, vegetables and herbs can be stored for later use.
Drying food will preserve many of the nutrients and your produce can easily be used after re-hydration, added to soups, casseroles, stews or enjoyed dry. There are a number of methods for drying your produce: by using a food dehydrator, solar drying, air drying or oven drying.

Frankenpot – Marijuana gone GMO!
Marijuana Growers: Hang onto your pot, here come the genetically modified genes!
It is painfully obvious that mad scientists have gone wild and are in charge of our health and food supply. And now, they want to grab hold of Cannabis!
Greenhouses lined with genetically modified marijuana sit on a mountainside just an hour ride from Cali, Colombia, where farmers say the enhanced plants are more powerful and profitable.
One greenhouse owner said she can sell the modified marijuana for 100,000 pesos ($54) per kilo (2.2 pounds), which is nearly 10 times more than the price she can get for ordinary marijuana.
Local authorities said the arrival of genetically modified seeds, which are imported from Europe and the United States have allowed “a bigger production and better quality at the same time”.
A police commander in the Cauca region where Cali is located, Carlos Rodriguez, said one of the modified varieties goes by the name, “Creepy”.
Another seed modified in The Netherlands is fetching a good price in the area, said a foreign researcher, who asked to remain anonymous. That version, well-known in Europe as “La Cominera”, is named for the Colombian village where it grows.
“La Cominera’s” higher value is due to its increased concentration of THC, the plant’s principal active ingredient, and the modified plant verges on an 18 percent concentration level, compared to a normal marijuana plant’s two to seven percent, said the researcher. (Yahoo News)

95 y.o. woman asked to remove adult diaper during TSA search
“The TSA works with passengers to resolve any security alarms in a respectful and sensitive manner,” said Sari Koshetz, a spokeswoman for the Transportation Security Administration in Miami.
Apparently, in accordance with their respectful sensitivity, security personnel then came out and told a 95 year old woman that they would need to remove her Depends diaper because it was soiled and was impeding their search.
Koshetz said the procedures are the same for everyone to ensure national security.
“It’s something I couldn’t imagine happening on American soil,” Weber said Friday. “Here is my mother, 95 years old, 105 pounds, barely able to stand, and then this.”

Anti-foaming agent found in Chicken McNuggets
Ever wonder what's really found in Chicken McNuggets? Some of the ingredients, it turns out, seem to belong more to an industrial factory of some kind, not a food retailer. According to the McDonald's Corporation, its famous Chicken McNuggets are made with ingredients including autolyzed yeast extract (which contain free glutamate, similar to MSG), sodium phosphates and sodium aluminum phosphate. But that's not the freaky part. According to McDonald's own website, Chicken McNuggets are also made with "hydrogenated soybean oil with TBHQ and citric acid added to preserve freshness" and "Dimethylpolysiloxane added as an antifoaming agent." (http://nutrition.mcdonalds.com/nutr...)
At least two of these ingredients are artificially synthesized industrial chemicals. TBHQ, a petroleum derivative, is used as a stabilizer in perfumes, resins, varnishes and oil field chemicals. Laboratory studies have linked it to stomach tumors. "At higher doses, it has some negative health effects on lab animals, such as producing precursors to stomach tumors and damage to DNA. A number of studies have shown that prolonged exposure to high doses of TBHQ may be carcinogenic, especially for stomach tumors." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TBHQ)

California fair vendor tests limits of Americans' junk food threshold by serving deep-fried Kool-Aid
Even at the lofty price of $5.95 a pop, hungry patrons are reportedly lining up in droves to try the new crispy, grease-drenched blob of artificial flavors and colors.
In case you are unaware, Kool-Aid drink mixes are literally nothing more than refined sugar, artificial flavors, and synthetic, petroleum-based colors. And the sugar-free varieties, of course, contain the deadly aspartame sweetener, as well as acesulfame potassium, which is linked to respiratory illness and cancer (http://www.sweetpoison.com/aspartam...).
Likewise, the batter used to deep-fry the Kool-Aid concoction is hardly any better, as it is composed of refined flours that have likely been treated with potassium bromate, a chemical linked to thyroid disorders and cancer (http://www.naturalnews.com/028443_f...). And to top it all off, the oils used to fry the end product are more than likely made of soy or canola, the vast majority of which is of genetically-modified (GM) origin if produced in the US.

New rules were quietly announced from top officials at the US Immigration
President Barack Obama’s administration is quietly offering a quasi-amnesty for hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants, while aiming to win reelection by mobilizing a wave of new Hispanic voters, say supporters of stronger immigration law enforcement.
The new rules were quietly announced Friday with a new memo from top officials at the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency. The “prosecutorial discretion” memo says officials need not enforce immigration laws if illegal immigrants are enrolled in an education center or if their relatives have volunteered for the US military.
“They’re pushing the [immigration] agents to be even more lax, to go further in not enforcing the law,” said Kris Kobach, Kansas’ secretary of state. “At a time when millions of Americans are unemployed and looking for work, this is more bad news coming from the Obama administration… [if the administration] really cared about putting Americans back to work, it would be vigorously enforcing the law,” said Kobach, who has helped legislators in several states draft local immigration-related laws.

Paragraph De Jour
"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world." - Carrol Quigley, 1963
Thought De Jour
"Let us do our duty while the memory of freedom still abides within us, that we may leave both the name and the fact of it to our children. For if we utterly lose sight of the happy conditions amid which we were born and bred, what pray will they do, reared in bondage? . . . Let us show them that they are hares and foxes trying to rule dogs and wolves." -- Buduica on the plains of Northumbria, AD 61 (quoted by Cassius Dio)

Fed balance sheet grows to record $2.86 trillion
Bernanke just can't stop buying, even with QE2 about to run dry....The money is being pumped into the stock market and 'to big to fail' banks, even though those 'to big to fails' have grown over 20% since the bail outs started...Not only have we reached the tipping point (every persons, even new born babes, now owe over $100,000 each in national debt)...We have reached the point of no return...I guess it hasn't sunk in yet....
The Federal Reserve's balance sheet expanded to a record $2.86 trillion in the week ended June 22 from $2.83 trillion in the prior week, the central bank said Thursday. The Fed balance sheet continues to set weekly records as the central bank completes its plan to purchase $600 billion in Treasurys by the end of June. The Fed is buying bonds to try to ease financial conditions and lower long-term interest rates under its plan, dubbed quantitative easing or QE2.

The Indignity of Industrial Tomatoes
On a visit to my parents in Naples, Florida, I was driving I-75 when I came up behind one of those gravel trucks that seem to be everywhere in southwest Florida's rush to convert pine woods and cypress stands into gated communities and shopping malls. As I drew closer, I saw that the tractor trailer was heavy with what seemed to be green apples. When I pulled out to pass, three of them sailed off the truck, narrowly missing my windshield. Every time it hit the slightest bump, more of those orbs would tumble off. At the first stoplight, I got a closer look. The shoulder of the road was littered with green tomatoes so plasticine and so identical they could have been stamped out by a machine. Most looked smooth and unblemished. A few had cracks in their skins. Not one was smashed. A 10-foot drop followed by a 60-mile-per- hour impact with pavement is no big deal to a modern, agribusiness tomato....
FLASHBACK - Tokyo Electric to Build Titanic, oops I mean US Nuclear Plants
Nuclear plants the world over must be certified for what is called "SQ" or "Seismic Qualification." That is, the owners swear that all components are designed for the maximum conceivable shaking event, be it from an earthquake or an exploding Christmas card from Al Qaeda.
The most inexpensive way to meet your SQ is to lie. The industry does it all the time. The government team I worked with caught them once, in 1988, at the Shoreham plant in New York. Correcting the SQ problem at Shoreham would have cost a cool billion, so engineers were told to change the tests from 'failed' to 'passed.'
The company that put in the false safety report? Stone & Webster, now the nuclear unit of Shaw Construction which will work with Tokyo Electric to build the Texas plant, Lord help us....

If the Titanic sank today, here's how the President, the media and Wall Street would spin it
Message From Mike Adams...
What would all the world's experts and authorities say today if the Titanic were sinking but nobody was willing to admit it? The U.S. economy, after all, is sinking and taking on an unprecedented volume of water (i.e. debt), yet virtually no one is willing to admit the obvious fact that this ship is sinking. And much like with the Titanic, most "experts" continue to claim the U.S. economy is unsinkable, despite the obvious evidence that we might want to start heading for the life rafts....
The Titanic hitting an iceberg in 2011, followed by a string of experts all trying to spin the story their own way. Here's what they might say:
The White House Press Secretary: The iceberg was placed in the Atlantic ocean by Osama Bin Laden.
The chemist: That's not an iceberg. It's merely solid-state di-hydrogen oxide.
Al Gore: That iceberg wouldn't have even been there if the polar caps weren't melting.
The Congressman: Quick, let's pass a new law that says ships shall not sink.
President Obama: The Titanic isn't sinking. It's merely engaged in "aquatic action."
Former President Bush: Icebergs are weapons of mass destruction planted in the ocean by terrorists. We must avenge the iceberg terrorists!
The Pentagon: We will equalize the hole in one side of the ship by blowing a matching hole in the other side.
The TSA inspector: You're not allowed onto a lifeboat until we check your anus for explosives.
The Cancer Doctor: We can't fix the hole in the ship, but through the miracle of chemotherapy, we can make you suffer so much that you won't care.
The Wall Street investment banker: Don't worry, the Fed will bail out all the water we're taking on. The Titanic is too big to fail.
The teenage girl: Can I still text on my iPhone under water?
Congressman Weiner: Yes you can, and by the way, here's a very special "going away" message for you to remember me by.
Average Joe: Is the ship's buffet still open?
The FDA: We believe the ship is sinking because of an e.coli infection that spread from the galley.
The CDC: Everybody should get vaccinated before the ship sinks, just in case there's a shark-flu virus in the water.
The New Ager: There is no hole in the ship unless you believe there is a hole in the ship.
The Academic: I have published a paper that proves this ship is unsinkable. Would anyone like to read it? Please?
The Catholic priest: I think we should save all the children first. Which lifeboat are they on again?
The Journalist: The Titanic has a hole in its side, but official sources tell us it's only "aquatic action" and there's no cause for alarm. And we believe them.
The Federal Reserve: We have decided to dump more water onto the ship in the hope of making it float.
The Federal Government: Hey, these deck chairs look pretty nice. Let's rearrange them!
The Doctor: We need to order a couple dozen CT scans of the ship's null and bill them to Medicare before we have any idea at all what to do.
The Denialist: Stop talking about negative things. Stay focused on the positive and you won't need a life vest.
The Realist: This ship is going down, folks. You might want to think about taking action to keep yourself alive.
The Gullible Masses: Don't worry, this ship is unsinkable.
Even if it did sink, there are plenty of lifeboats.
Even if there aren't enough lifeboats, we all have life jackets.
Even if we don't have enough life jackets, the government will come save us.

Unbelievable! Court Rules US Taxpayers, Not BP Or Transocean, Are Liable For Gulf Oil Spill Clean Up Costs
A US District court has dismissed over 100,000 lawsuits brought against BP And Transocean to pay for oil spill clean up costs and environmental damages to the Gulf of Mexico caused by the BP Gulf Oil Spill.
The court ruled that injury stopped the moment the well was sealed and that the Federal Government, aka The US Taxpayer, is now liable for clean up costs along with any damages caused by deficiencies of the cleanup of the Gulf Of Mexico.

What doesn't add up here? Answer: just about everything!
"On any given night there are 100,000 homeless veterans," said the spokesperson at Homeless Support Network.
Does anyone possess a clue as to why our U.S. government spends $12 billion every 30 days in Afghanistan and Iraq while 1.5 million of our citizens remain homeless and 13.4 million American children live in poverty?
"There are 770,000 homeless children enrolled in public education systems," said a spokesperson at Homeless Support Network.
"At least 3.5 million Americans experience homelessness each year." How can the government force taxpayers to pay $12 billion for two inane wars every month while millions of our citizens live in poverty?

Magic mushroom’s positive effects lasting over a year, say researchers
Scientists at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine claim to have determined the proper dose levels needed to create positive changes in attitudes, mood, life satisfaction, and behavior that persist for more than a year with the psychoactive substance in so-called "magic mushrooms."
The findings are the latest in a series of experiments done at Johns Hopkins to investigate psilocybin, a psychedelic substance contained in certain mushrooms. The findings were published online this week in the peer-reviewed journal Psychopharmacology.
“In cultures before ours, the spiritual guide or healer had to discern how much of what type of mushroom to use for what purposes, because the strength of psychoactive mushrooms varies from species to species and even from specimen to specimen," said Roland Griffiths, Ph.D., a professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences and neuroscience at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and the study's lead scientist.

True fact: A common ingredient in commercial breads is derived from human hair harvested in China
If you read the ingredients label on a loaf of bread, you will usually find an ingredient listed there as L-cysteine. This is a non-essential amino acid added to many baked goods as a dough conditioner in order to speed industrial processing. It's usually not added directly to flour intended for home use, but you'll find it throughout commercial breads such as pizza dough, bread rolls and pastries.
While some L-cysteine is directly synthesized in laboratories, most of it is extracted from a cheap and abundant natural protein source: human hair. The hair is dissolved in acid and L-cysteine is isolated through a chemical process, then packaged and shipped off to commercial bread producers. Besides human hair, other sources of L-cysteine include chicken feathers, duck feathers, cow horns and petroleum byproducts.
Most of the hair used to make L-cysteine is gathered from the floors of barbershops and hair salons in China, by the way.....

Prominent Bilderberg Insider Injected Into IMF Race At Last Minute
Following the annual Bilderberg meeting in St. Moritz Switzerland this weekend, a prominent attendee to the elitist gathering has been entered into the race to become the IMF head at the eleventh hour.
Bank of Israel Governor Stanley Fischer, an insider favourite of Bilderberg and multiple time attendee, announced his intention to bid to become the replacement managing director of the IMF, taking the position previously held by Dominique Strauss-Kahn, himself a former Bilderberg attendee.

As The Fascism Deepens Corporation Join Hands With Military
Imagine, if you will, a world in which health sciences, disease control, cancer research, bio-weapons research, vaccine development, biotechnology, food and agriculture, national defense, and chemical companies all work together under the military.
Then imagine, if you will, that a certain chemical company under the guise of a life sciences operation, produces an herbicide/defoliant for military use so destructive and highly toxic that contact with it causes cancer, diabetes and birth defects. And then that same chemical/life sciences company partners with a funding corporation whose team members include the ex-partner of the inventor of the world’s first completely synthetic organism, which was recently unleashed in the ocean and has since turned its ever-hungry sites on human flesh. Then imagine that same company with a monopoly on our food supply…
Sound like an episode out of the Twilight Zone or Dr. Who? Well, it’s not. It’s real, and it’s documented.

Thought De Jour
"Each party [Democratic and Republican] has assumed the mantle of fiscal responsibility while accusing the other of reckless spending. Yet both parties have proposed irresponsibly high levels of military spending at the expense of programs that meet the needs of society's most vulnerable members." - Friends Committee on National Legislation newsletter, December 1999.
Sweet or Sick? You Decide!
A British mom, who happens to be a plastic surgery addict known as "The Human Barbie," gave her 7-year-old daughter an almost $10,000 breast enlargement voucher for her birthday, The Daily Mail reports.
Burge said Poppy "squealed with delight" when she was given the voucher.
"I wanted a new computer, a holiday and a voucher for surgery. When I got it all, it was a dream come true. All my friends were jealous. I can't wait to be like Mummy with big boobs. They're pretty," Poppy said.
Last year, Barbie mom taught 6-year-old Poppy how to pole dance, which amazingly, seems tame by comparison.

A massive Shower Curtain Erected to hide the Bilderberg Group?
Ok, so some of you may call this infantile. Unless there are group showerings by Bilderberg's elite members, why the silly curtain?
What are they so afraid of? After entering a majestic castle, closing a dozen doors behind them, of course no media is allowed, with over 1,000 agents guarding them on the outside, was a shower curtain really necessary?
What is the CEO of Deutche Bank Josef Ackermann doing hiding in a black limo and more importantly what are German plane clothed policemen doing patrolling Swiss streets and following people around?
Henry Kissinger is cool, the soon to be adviser to FIFA arrived at the castle followed by the Queen of Netherlands and David Rockefeller.
So who put up the shower curtain? Was it the CEO of Royal Dutch Shell, but then who held the nails? The CEO of Bank of America? It's anybody's guess, but these people mean business. Do not peek through the shower curtain, you'd probably be unpleasantly surprised.

Record snow makes Yosemite waterfalls spectacular
Record Sierra snowfall over the winter now means record snow melt as temperatures rise, swelling Yosemite National Park's iconic waterfalls, streams and rivers to their most turbulent level in years.
Yosemite Falls, the nation's tallest, is spewing enough water to fill a gasoline tanker truck every two seconds. The force of water at Bridalveil Falls across the valley kicks up a mist that clouds the meadow below.

Libya War and Wider Middle East Conflict On Bilderberg Agenda
Jim Tucker cited his insider sources who have revealed that bankster kingpin David Rockefeller was spotted at the resort located in St. Moritz, Switzerland, where the Bilderberg meeting is now convening.
The current patriarch of the Rockefeller family is a co-director of the Bilderberg Group along with the notorious war criminal Henry Kissinger and J.P. Morgan bank director Paul Arthur Allaire.
Tucker said the NATO action against Libya heads the Bilderberg agenda. The globalists want to create a “big bloody war” in the region, Tucker explained. High oil prices and exorbitant prices reflected at the pump will be used to gain the support of the commoners for continued military action in the Middle East.
On Wednesday, it was reported that the U.S. has intensified a “secret campaign” of air strikes in Yemen, thus intensifying tensions in the region.
Tucker also said the elite are outraged by the patriot movement and the alternative media’s coverage of the Bilderberg meetings and the release of information by moles and insiders. He said the elite attempted to get media magnate Rupert Murdoch to convince The Guardian in the United Kingdom and the Irish Times to scale back their reportage on the Bilderbergers, but he was unable to do so.

Quote De Jour
"Everything predicted by the enemies of banks, in the beginning, is now coming to pass. We are to be ruined now by the deluge of bank paper. It is cruel that such revolutions in private fortunes should be at the mercy of avaricious adventurers, who, instead of employing their capital, if any they have, in manufactures, commerce, and other useful pursuits, make it an instrument to burden all the interchanges of property with their swindling profits, profits which are the price of no useful industry of theirs." - Thomas Jefferson to Thomas Cooper, 1814.

The Coming Economic Hell For American Families
The economic news is only part of the puzzle. This country has rejected the ancient wisdom that was passed down to us and we have rejected the principles of our founding fathers. We have piled up the biggest mountain of debt in the history of the world and yet somehow we expected that everything would turn out okay. Well, everything is not going to turn out okay.
So what is going to happen when the next wave of the economic crisis hits?
Peter Schiff made the following statement....
"If you look at the economic relapse that’s going on right now, look at Friday’s abysmal job numbers, look at the housing numbers, understand that all of this is taking place with record monetary and fiscal stimulus. What happens if we remove those supports?"

How to Make Offers of Proof
How to Make Offers of Proof ...
From the Jurisdictionary Evidence Tutorial...
If you begin to offer evidence and, before you can get it before the court, the other side objects and the court sustains the objection, you must move the court to allow you to make clear on the record what the evidence was.
This is called an offer of proof.
If you don't get your evidence in and don't offer the proof, you'll have nothing to appeal if the court rules against you. You won't be able to win on appeal, because the record for the appellate court to review will not show what the evidence would have been! Therefore, when your attempt to get evidence in is prevented by the court's sustaining the other side's objection, be sure to make an offer of proof stating what the evidence would have been and what you intended to prove by it.
Then, if an appeal must be taken to the higher court on the basis that you were not allowed to get the evidence in, you'll have a record to show what the evidence was (or would have been) and be able to argue that "but for" the excluded evidence you would have won ... or, at least, that you should be given another chance on remand to the trial court with instructions from the appellate court!
In jury trials, offers of proof should be made outside the hearing of the jury. In some cases an offer of proof may be made at the bench, but if you make your offer of proof at the bench, make certain the court reporter comes over to the bench along with his or her recording device to take down every word you, the judge, and other side say!
No record = no appeal possible.
No appeal possible = judge free to rule as he chooses! Not good

Genetic engineering is regularly used to produce lethal bacteria
"It sounds like science fiction, but it is a deadly reality: lethal microbes, with no cure,
"Example 2: Transferring a lethal factor to harmless human gut bacteria
Genetic engineering could make previously harmless bacteria lethal biological weapons by introducing deadly genes from a highly pathogenic organism. This was done by US researchers as early as 1986. They isolated the gene for the lethal factor of Bacillus anthracis, the causative agent of anthrax, and introduced into Escherichia coli, a normally harmless gut bacteria. The US team reported that the lethal factor protein was active in E. coli and displayed the same deadly effects as it did when in its native B. anthracis.
