Bank of America Still Dreaming Up New Bank Fees
The Wall Street Journal today reports BofA is experimenting with charging $6 a month to up to $25 a month, depending on the bank account. Customers will have options to avoid the charges, for instance by agreeing not to see tellers or by maintaining minimum balances or getting a mortgage, but the fees are going to be put in. Of course, this shouldn’t really be that surprising. Regulations on credit cards, debit cards and overdraft fees have cost the bank billions in revenues, all coming from the consumer
